Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center was proud to be named a
“Premier” accredited center at the beginning of June by
NARHA (North American Riding for the Handicapped
Association). The accreditation is a voluntary process and
recognizes NARHA member centers that have met established
industry standards. It is based on a peer review system in
which trained volunteers visit and review centers in
accordance with strict NARHA standards. A center that meets
the accreditation requirements based on the administrative,
facility, program and applicable special interest standards
becomes a Premier Accredited Center (PAC) for a period of
five years. |

Program director Linda Kerr has met the man of her dreams!
While we are happy for her, we are sad that he is in
Montrose and she is moving there at the end of October to be
with him. She will remain involved with PPTRC when she
comes to town a couple of times each month and through the
phone and email. |
