Catherine Buckley

VOLUNTEER OF THE YEAR  - Catherine does it all – and then some!   Extremely dedicated; volunteers on Saturdays as well as helping with volunteer orientations, Healing Hooves Gala and horse shows.  She’s a wonderful, positive role model for everyone around her!

Janet Combs and Karen VanHorn Best Tag Team - they work together smoothly and are always enthusiastic and willing to do whatever it takes!
Kelsey Ervin Right Hand Late in the Day Help with Horses - award – she’s always around to lend a hand when you need her most!
Jan Fritchle “Bright-eyed and Bushy Tail” award – What Jan lacks in height, she makes up for in energy.  She sometimes looks like a human pretzel as she sidewalks some very involved riders, and comes away smiling and ready for what is next.
Ralph Moffie Rookie of the Year - he's always here, eager to learn and pitches in to help with all chores!
Al Karsh “All I Need is Duct Tape” award - If something moves and it shouldn’t, he uses duct tape.  If something doesn’t move and it should, he uses WD-40.  This man IS the fix-it man.  He can build the best jousting course I’ve ever seen.
Bill and Nancy Brizzee “Going Above and Beyond” award – The kids love them!  Nancy would work a night shift, sleep 2 hours and come to help, despite having rheumatoid arthritis.
Betty Moore “Alpha Mare” award – a take charge person.  She’s always willing to help a new volunteer.  Gets a big mucking effort underway every time she’s here!
Margie Van Cleave “General” Van Cleave – because her troops OBEY!  She runs her shift like a military commander and her colleagues jump when she speaks!
Ann and Hayley Booth “Angels of Saturdays” award – with hearts of gold, they take great care of horses & the riders get special loving care!
Lynn Cowan (husband of Lisa Cowan) “Behind the Scenes” Family Volunteer – he does repairs, acts as photographer for Special Rodeo and Special Olympics (donated time/pictures), feeds horses, mucks on Christmas Eve and Christmas morning!
Kassie Kerr Young Adult “Lifesaver” award – with a smile, she is always there at the last minute when we need her to help with evening classes and other events!
Cydney Spreier “Super Sub” award – she has helped us out many times with very short notice and always willing to help!  Thank You!!!
