All PPTRC
horses are donated and trained specially for different areas in
therapeutic riding. We need and use a wide range of breeds, shapes and
sizes to match our riders. PPTRC maintains a herd of more than a dozen
horses to meet the needs of the riders and programs. Each horse is a
contributing and valuable member of the PPTRC team. They give of their
heart and soul to riders, volunteers, and staff alike. They are truly the
“legs” behind the success at Pikes Peak Therapeutic Riding Center.
