The Need

Disability has no consideration of one’s sex, race or age.  Almost one in five Americans has one.  Half of these people – an estimated 24.1 million – have a severe disability.  Approximately one in eight children from ages 6 to 14 has some type of disability.  We provide such children and adults with an experience that deeply impacts their learning abilities, physical skills and self-esteem, thus enabling them to be as self sufficient and to live enriched lives as much as possible despite their special needs.
